This is why Spoonkind exists.
We’re a small band of food lovers, yogurt nerds and serial entrepreneurs. We’ve actually been making Skyr for years, but always for other brands and always with their logos on the cups. And it’s dandy. Aside from one small problem. Lactose. Or to be more precise, lactose intolerance.
Along with 120 million other Americans, our two founders discovered they couldn’t “handle” dairy yogurt. We’ll spare you the details but when you spend your life creating, dreaming and living yogurt, it didn’t quite um, sit right with us. Spoonkind is not only lactose-free, it’s delicious, high in protein & is now available with overnight oats! Yogurt, made the way it should be: edible by all.
Proudly made in NY. Spoonkind is made at our original farm in Upstate New York. This SQF Grade II production facility is where commercial Skyr production first began in the USA.
Through investment in people and the plant, we’re proud to have grown our yogurt making heritage and we can’t wait to introduce your tastebuds to lactose-free Spoonkind Skyr.
